We live by a simple truth:
We are by growers, for growers.
Our team is dedicated to providing unwavering support to grower families while fostering a strong sense of community and purpose.
Our mission is to uplift the communities that make it all possible while cultivating lasting relationships with local and regional partners to make a genuine difference.
Our community is central to who we are. Some of our most impactful efforts include our collaboration with local charities that offer food and resources to families in need, including matching fund commitments, grower grants, and holiday meals.
The Naturipe Berry Growers Scholarship Award Program [link to subpage with application information] was organized to give financial aid to students with a desire to further their educational career goals or pursue a career in the agricultural industry.
Scholarships are awarded annually to the children of our grower’s farm workers and children of NBG employees in each major strawberry-growing region of California (Watsonville, Salinas, Santa Maria, and Oxnard).
Through CASA Monterey, we help ensure foster children receive the advocacy and care they deserve by connecting them with dedicated volunteers who champion their rights. Our partnership with UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz Graduate School of Education empowers future educators while promoting diversity in education. We also support Rancho Cielo Youth Camps, a nonprofit that provides educational and vocational training in a safe and affirming environment in Salinas, CA.
Mexico is part of the heart of our grower community, where our employees actively engage in charitable initiatives that make a lasting impact. Our team is dedicated to uplifting those in need by volunteering and providing meals at local hospitals in Guadalajara, as well as donating bicycles and offering support to girls from 3 to 15 years old and adults in need of special care at Casa Hogar. We also contribute to Asilo de Ancianos Maria Auxiliadora, a retirement facility, where we provide care and resources for elderly residents. We are proud to fund community greenhouses that supply fresh produce to local families. These efforts reflect our deep commitment to fostering hope, independence, and brighter futures across the communities we serve.
In partnership with the Strawberry Commission, we support the agricultural industry in Mexico through advocacy and resources that directly benefit growers. Through our work together, we help improve growing conditions, elevate farming practices, and provide critical support to ensure the success of growers.
We stand by the belief that we grow best together, which is exactly why we continuously create opportunities for both growers and families to thrive.
